The CoatPro measuring system
Continuous coating thickness measurement with highest precision.
One measuring device for everything!
The CoatPro is a measuring system for coatings based on the photothermal effect. It is suitable for almost all material combinations of coating and substrate. The innovative technology combines continuous measurement with high precision – developed and manufactured in Germany.
Continuous measurement: Flexible, fast, and precise thanks to lock-in amplification.
Non-contact measurement: Suitable for wet or uncured coatings.
Large angular tolerance (typ. ± 75°): Enables the measurement of curved surfaces.
Flexible working distance: typ. 100 mm with a tolerance of 50 mm.
Large coating thickness range: typ. 1 - 1000 µm.
LED technology: Eye-safe, without ionizing radiation, ATEX-compliant (requires ATEX version).

One interface for everything!
Whether standalone measuring station or fully automated system, both the data connection and the power supply of the CoatPro are provided via a single Ethernet interface. Together with the intrinsically safe technology, integration of the CoatPro is seamless.
Power supply via Power over Ethernet (PoE), power consumption < 70 W.
Inline integration and data exchange, e.g., via Modbus TCP.
No separate safety precautions required.
One software for everything!
From simple single-point measurement in laboratory operation to continuous measurement in the line and robot-guided area point measurement – all conceivable scenarios using the CoatPro can be implemented and controlled with the same software. The software is rounded off by a wizard for quick and clear calibration.
Single-point measurements, continuous measurements, and robot sequences.
Synchronous control of multiple CoatPro measuring systems in the same subnet.
Easy data export, both graphically (PNG files) and text-based (CSV files).
Intuitive step-by-step calibration directly in the software
Optional: Add-in "Scope" for direct control of the photothermal signal.
